Summarizing Know-how after liposuction through ranking No.1 worldwide of liposuction surgery in South Korea

Many people visit Korea for medical tourism. In particular, liposuction is the best in Korea in the world. That's why today, we have compiled a list of tips(knowhow) for managing your diet after liposuction.

In this column, I would like to introduce food selection tips after liposuction. Basically, if you want to build a first-class body, you have to eat mostly firstclass food. However, it does not mean that you have to follow an unrealistic diet, such as reducing your calorie intake or eating only chicken breast and sweet potatoes, even after surgery.



Eating food of Grade 1

The criteria for food selection tips referred to the ‘Korean Nutrition Analysis and Evaluation’ data of the Society for Food and Nutrition. The nutritional analysis evaluation classifies food into four categories, including grades 1 to X. ‘Grade 1’, which can be safely eaten, ‘Grade 2’, which is a healthy food that must be eaten in moderation to lose weight, ‘Grade 3’, which has nutritional value but affects weight gain, and ‘Grade X’, which must be absolutely avoided. Class 1 foods include meat such as pork, beef, and chicken, seafood such as fish, squid, and octopus, eggs, and vegetables.



Grade 2 refers to healthy grains such as multigrain and brown rice, fruits, milk and low sugar dairy products, nuts, good oils such as olive oil, coconut oil and perilla oil, salt, coffee, tea, and sugar-free sources such as xylitol and erythritol.


Grade 3 includes white rice, rice cakes, starchy foods such as potatoes, corn, sweet pumpkin, sweet potatoes, processed meats, dark chocolate, and alcohol. Grade X belongs to most of the highly addictive foods containing flour, sugary foods, and trans fats.


I recommend a diet that prioritizes first class food for one month to lose weight. If it is difficult to practice because you are busy with your company life, it is recommended that you prepare your diet with first-class food only on weekends.


Grade 1 food is advantageous for dieting as high protein and high fiber foods are the main ones. Some people sometimes ask, ‘Is it okay if I don’t eat carbs at all?’ However, not all foods are composed of a single ingredient. In the case of Grade 1 food, two or more of the three nutrients are combined, but the ratio is different. The main point is not to exclude carbohydrates unconditionally, but to limit the intake of glucose more than necessary, which can easily be stored as fat.


In Korea, Apgujeong-dong and Sinsa-dong are famous areas for plastic surgery. The same goes for liposuction. Therefore, after liposuction in Korea, I hope to get good results with first-class food intake to understand knowhow.
